The Industrial applications for which it may be used are:-

1. Mechanical Operations like
1. fitting
2. drilling
3. punching
4. screw fastening
5. boring
6. reaming
2. Simple FMS demonstrations such as
1. pick and drop
2. object orientation
3. object positioning

The payload of our demonstration model may not permit it to perform all of the above operations in the real world but it will definitely be able to demonstrate the principle involved. The viability of its use as a tool in realtime has yet to be evaluated.

The Domestic applications that we have tested include:

1. Serving a cup of coffee using simple English voice commands. (Televised on the STAR satellite network on the 23rd of March 1998).
